Sunday 26th

… At 10.30 Cruickshank, G and I went to the Gannel bird-watching. We saw snow-bunting?, a black-headed gull (not black-headed) scrabbling in the mud with his feet and catching the small fish it stirred up, a grey wagtail, and my first goldcrest. Quite fun. Also a bren gun carrier in the Gannel. (Running around). … zwl zwp zfr

Martin Wood and Cruikshank and I all joined the marionette business. Ought to be quite fun. Toad of Toad Hall. … zfr zth

 

Monday 27th

… I was playing in the Woodlands first game, and made a pretty good fool of myself. … zsp

… Don’t seem to be on very good terms with Martin Wood, I don’t know if its because I’m an Atheist or what.   ? zfr zrl

 

Tuesday 28th

… Only two preps, Martin Wood and Cruickshank both had baths. We talked about Space and then about the feeling and experiences when you die and about what happens afterwards. zfr zpy zrl zem zsy
