After tea we changed, and did the same as yesterday, only better and more fun. Pretty warm work. We ‘mopped up’ the Bay [hotel] yard on the way to the Fistral. There was no enemy today. … zct

Monday 2^nd

I think RJC is probably my best friend. Wood is not particularly friendly, rather shallow, and he doesn’t show signs of liking me much. If he did it would be different. zfr zop
