… we discussed with Mr. Candler the Yugo Slav who spoke in Soc. Soc. last night. … [Mr. C] spoke to him afterwards, and brought out two points: (1) The Mihailovič [royalist] regulars still fighting don’t work with the partisans. The latter are revolutionary and disapproved of by the government here. (2) The ‘free’ governments will have no say in Europe [after the war ends], because leaders will have arisen.
